Brenna
I met a freshman girl named Brenna at Florida State University a couple weeks ago. We talked on the phone to process the meeting and figure out some practical next steps for her. I suggested IT Project and she had some obstacles but after more phone calls and prayer she’s officially going! Pray for Brenna as she support raises and prepares for the summer <3!
Haylea
At the College of Charleston I talked to Haylea who’s graduating this May. She was trying to figure out what’s next for her life. I paired her with a sending agency called World Team and she’ll be working with them during this Summer! We’re talking on the phone again next week so I’m excited to hear more about what all she’ll be doing.
Sam
Sam is an international student from the University of North Alabama and she wanted to play a part in God’s global mission, but she’s not able to go on a short term overseas trip due to her VISA. I mentioned she can play a part by giving financially and pointed her to a resource called The Go Fund. The Go Fund eliminates the #1 barrier for missionaries (finances) by paying off their student debt and allowing well trained and equipped missionaries to be sent to unreached people groups. She’s now playing a part and making a Global impact through her giving!
Karis
Karis is an international grad student that I met in Atlanta last semester and I followed up with her for a second phone call the other day. She said that after we came and spoke she questioned what she was doing sitting in a cubicle all day with no clear purpose. She heard of an engineering ministry and after much prayer, once she graduates she’s working with them to further spread the Gospel!
Hudson
A friend of mine heard that we were going to The University of Miami and reached out to get details on the meeting so she could invite her brother. Her brother has been exploring his faith and was looking for Christian community. He came to our meeting and is now going to the BCM weekly in Miami!
Clemson FCA & CRU
We had 2 meetings on the same night at Clemson during their Sweet 16 game. We spoke with Cru before the basketball game with around 200 students and then spoke with FCA after Clemson won against Arizona with 400 students. We got to our host home around midnight but it was such a fun day.
CRU Headquarters
Duke University
I talked to a couple girls on the phone from this Florida State meeting that said after we came they went out on their campus and shared the Gospel! A few of them for the first time!!
We spoke with a church in Gainesville this Sunday and I realized my humor is definitely more catered towards college students… my part 2 jokes were not hitting the same. But! they were super encouraging, one of the members of the church was originally from East Asia and was in tears thanking us for what we do.
We shared the World Vision Illustration with our host Barbara in Tallahassee. She prayed for us, made breakfast for us, and danced with us! I could write a whole update just on her, but let’s just say she was hoot and we loved her.
Thank you so much!
Not a moment of my ministry would be possible without your support. Thank you for stewarding what the Lord has given you to make His name known. And, thank you for your prayers! Your stewardship, giving, and prayers have directly allowed me to continue in full time ministry. I am immensely grateful.
Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus!
